The painting Kulmbach After the Summer Rain (2026, oil on canvas, 80 × 80 cm) was exhibited at the 15th Annual Members’ Exhibition of Kunstverein Kulmbach e.V., held in Kulmbach, Germany, from 11 July to 23 August 2026.
The work depicts a historic corner of Kulmbach near the Catholic Church of Our Lady (Unsere Liebe Frau), where medieval architecture harmoniously merges with the summer landscape of Franconia. Painted immediately after rainfall, the composition captures the distinctive atmosphere of a June afternoon through the interplay of light, shimmering reflections on damp surfaces, and richly saturated colours. The painting formed part of an exhibition bringing together the works of 39 regional artists, showcasing the diversity and vitality of contemporary visual art in Upper Franconia.
